Two recycled-content PMs are on track in Mexico; CMPC buying from USA

Two new recycled-content tissue paper machines in Mexico totaling 110,000 tonnes/ yr of capacity - one by SCA and one by Empresas CMPC - are moving ahead toward startup, with the CMPC mill already trying and buying US recovered paper, contacts said. CMPC's 50,000 tonnes/yr Voith 5.5-m-trim PM at its Absormex mill in Altamira near Tampand in 2007 said it gained entry into the Mexican market via supermarket chains.
