Recent widespread speculation was correct that autumn price increases would soon be announced for North American commercial printers and publishers.Yesterday, NewPage announced $60-75/ ton Oct. 1 price hikes for its coated and un-coated mechanical paper grades, and today Verso told customers it would increase the price of all printing grades shipping on or after Sept. 15 by $40-75/ton.
