The North American paper and forests products industry has dodged a Category 5 hurricane but taken a direct hit from a Category 4, and will need time to pick up the debris, Temple-Inland chmn and CEO Doyle Simons said Tuesday.Simons was making the keynote speech at the 24th RISI North American Forest Products Conference in San Diego, CA, where he had just been presented with RISI's 2009 North American CEO of the Year award.
