The first of two 1 million tonnes/yr bleached eucalytus pulp lines in Latin America started up last week,35 days sooner than expected.Suzano on Aug.26 began production on the line 2 at its Mucuri mill in Bahia,Brazil.The company expects to produce about 150,000 tonnes of market pulp this year,900,000 tonnes next year,and 1 million tonnes in 2009.The 1.3 billion project was completed in 22 months.
