India's buying of US OCC,mixed paper on the rise;China's OCC demand falls

For the first time in May,India purchased more than 100,000 tonnes of US recovered paper and so far this year had moved up to become the US's fourth largest export market.India in May purchased 107,599 tonnes,80% of which was US old corrugated containers(OCC)and mixed paper,according to figures from the US Bureau of Census and Dept of Commerce.Year-to-date,India moved in front of South Korea as the fourth largest market for US recovered paper,behind China,Canada,and Mexico.
