Chances for another containerboard price hike in the USA timed for early fall appeared more uncertain with corrugated box shipments in May down 3.3% from a year ago based on a report by the Fibre Box Assn(FBA).Box shipments of 33.123 billion ft2 were down 3.3% from a year ago on both an actual and average week basis.This brought the year-to-date decline in box shipments to 1.4% on an actual basis and 2.3% average week(adjusted for one more day in May),according to FBA.
