U.S.containerboard feeling price pressure, but producers plan significant winter downtime

The largest integrated producers maintained that their kraft linerboard prices stayed put this month (compared to last month); an array of buyers - independent converters in the Northeast and Midwest - said the market was on the verge of a price fall and that box prices were being cut in some cases.
