US paper and paperboard production declined 1.3% in September (vs September 2014's total), according to the American Forest & Paper Association. Paperboard production was down 0.6% for the month, led by containerboard being off by 0.4%, and paper production declined 2.4%. Year-to-date production was down by 0.8% and totaled 59.4 million tons.
