Graphic Packaging posts strong operating quarter

Graphic Packaging doubled its fourth quarter net income to $46.0 million, or $0.13/ share from $23 million, or $0.06/share a year ago, the company reported Feb. 7. Sales increased 2.0% to $1,075 billion. Fourth quarter EBITDA increased 5.4% to $158.3 million, adjusted for restructuring and other special items, and was positively impacted by $24.5 million of improved operating perfonnance, $4.3 million of favorable volume/mix and $4.3 million of higher pricing.
