Ranpak, the world's largest producer of "in-the-box" paper packaging materials, is for sale in a deal that could approach $1 billion, according to a Reuters report. Buyout firm Odyssey Investment Partners hired investment banks Barclays and Harris Williams & Co to conduct an auction for Ranpak, which has EBITDA of around $90 million, according to Reuters. Odyssey reportedly acquired the company from American Capital Strategies in 2008 for $410 million.
