Canfor Pulp and Domtar, the two largest market pulp producers of benchmark northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) in North America, separately informed domestic customers this week that prices would decline, effective Oct. 1 until further notice, in a move that likely sets a floor for price erosion ~ at least for this month.
