Graphic Packaging in Hung Hing joint venture to grow beverage business in China

With an eye on the growing Chinese beverage sector, Graphic Packaging's Japanese subsidiary, Graphic Packaging International Japan, began operating in September in a joint venture with Hung Hing Printing Group. The new venture, Graphic Hung Hing Packaging (Shanghai), is based in Shanghai to provide beverage packaging and packaging machinery to Chinese beverage companies. The deal also benefits Graphic in that it has global customers from its business in North America that are active in China.
