IP, llim expect their JV to be done by end of 2Q

International Paper (IP) last week moved ahead with forming a major 50-50% joint venture with Russia's Dim Pulp and asked a Russian government authority to support the deal.If Russia'sFederal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) approvs the deal in the next 30 days,the companies will seek shareholder approval and to complete a financial plan,with both companies focused on "finalzing a long-term joint investment program of appproximately 12 billion of capital investments",an IP official said last week.
