China removes 13% VAT rebate on exports with imported recovered paper

The Chinese government has eliminated a 13% tax rebate on pulp,paper,and paper-board exports that use certain imported raw materials as furnish,including recovered paper.The move started on Sept.15 and covers imported recovered paper,chemicals,and starch.Paper producers that secured exemption certificates before Sept.15 will gain the rebate until Dec.14,according to PPI Asia News.
