After announcing a restructuring effort on July 22 that lasts through 2008,Kimberly-Clark went to work right away last week,consolidating six North American and European adult and feminine care converting plants into three,and shutting two U.S.health care plants that will have their output switched to Mexico,according to local reports.The company will shut plants in St-Hyacinthe,Que.,Neenah,Wis.,and one in Germany.The Neenah plant is called Neenah South and has 155 workers.K-C said it plans to add 120 jobs to its other plant in Neenah,Cold Spring,where output will be expanded.
