U.S.kraft liner output rises on basis weights above 42-lb;shift to 23-lb medium grows

U.S.containerboard producers last year increased their domestic output of grades heavier than the benchmark 42-lb unbleached kraft linerboard and established 23-lb for the first time as the primary corrugating medium weight ahead of the standard 26-lb,according to an American Forest & Paper Assn.annual report.
