CNY downtime planned by Nine Dragons, for Fuyang region; exports down 5.1%

Nine Dragons plans broad-based machine downtime at its large Dongguan city mill in southern China that is to total 200,000 tonnes, with the shuts starting for the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year on Jan. 31, PPI Asia reported at the start of this year. The downtime is to total about 150,000 tonnes for containerboard, 50,000 tonnes for boxboard, and 1,000 tonnes for UFS, PPI Asia reported.
