摘要

Canada's federal government has joined the Province of British Columbia and Port Metro Vancouver in efforts to end a truckers' strike that has disrupted the country's busiest port and main hub with Asia. With economic damage to the country's economy mounting, the BC government plans to table back to work legislation as early as Mar. 24 aimed at forcing unionized container truck drivers back to their rigs. It includes a 90-day cooling off period for truckers who are members of Canada's largest union, Unifor.
