G-P jumps out with $50/ton bleached carton and food service increase for July 1 after $40-50 hikes in April

Georgia-Pacific (G-P) informed customers it will increase prices of all bleached folding carton, coated platestock, and uncoated and clay-coated cupstock grades by $50/ton effective July 1. G-P's solid bleached sulfate (SBS) folding carton grades include Signature Solution and Masterprint. Its uncoated cupstock is designed for cup bottom applications and clay coated cup for sidewall applications. Both require polyethylene extrusion as a liquid barrier.
