Two of North America's six largest tissue paper producers - Kimberly-Clark (K-C) and Clearwater Paper — announced their third quarter prices increased 4% from reducing sheet counts in their packs. K-C reported a 4% rise in the quarter and Clearwater 3.9% (vs levels in third quarter 2012).

7. Commodity prices have risen sharply since 2006. This may benefit developing countries specialized on primary exports, but poverty may increase.
