ArjoWiggins plans to splash out Euro 23 million (US25 million) on a new coater for its Wizernes mill in Nord-Pas-de-Calais,France.The company aims to select the supplier shortly."We expect the new machine to be commissioned in early 2004," said ArjoWiggins' president,Francois Wanecq.The Wizernes plant currently churns out 160,000 tonnes/yr of coated woodfree paper on one machine.ArjoWiggins will boost the PM's production by a small amount,but would not reveal how much.
