Mondi to raise pulp, kraftliner production at Swiecie mill in Poland

Mondi is set to invest Euro 94 million ($105 million) in the second phase of its investment at its Swiecie mill in Poland. The project will see full utilisation of the new high energy recovery boiler's capacity and provide an additional 100,000 tonnes/yr of softwood pulp, 80,000 tonnes/yr of kraftliner as well as further improve the mill's product mix flexibility, Mondi said.
