Nippon Paper Papylia develops 18 g/m2 ultra-thin printing paper

Nippon Paper Papylia, a company in the Nippon Paper Group, has developed printing paper weighing only 18 g/m2, making it the lightest such paper in Japan (according to an internal study) and one that is appropriate for documents containing dense information, such as insurance clauses. The company began sales of the paper in Japan in May 2013.
