Atlantic moving ahead with idle newsprint PM conversion to recycled containerboard

Atlantic Packaging Products is moving ahead with conversion of an idle recycled newsprint machine at its Whitby, ON, mill-to containerboard production, according to contacts. The conversion of the newsprint machine to approximately 300,000 tons/ yr of recycled containerboard is scheduled for completion next spring, based on the reports.
