SIAM CEMENT TO EXPAND MILL

Thailand's Siam Cement has announced plans to raise the containerboard capacity at its United Pulp and Paper (UPP) plant in Calumpit,in the northern Philippine province of Bulacan.The group is yet to finalize details of the expansion,but a spokesman said it is likely to happen soon to take advantage of the strong baht against the US dollar.
