In the effort to achieve maximum efficiencies there is a lot of R&D work and resulting progress taking place in all areas of the papermaking process. Blades for creping in the tissue making process is one such area where excellent results in time savings and extended nrnning times are being achieved, simply by changing the material make up from the original steel, to ceramics.
