Nippon Paper Group has decided to appoint a new president as part of a management revamp in the aftermath of the industry-wide recycling claims scandal that hit Japan earlier this year. The group elected director Yoshio Haga to succeed Masatomo Nakamura at a board meeting on April 2. Nakamura will become chairman without the right to represent the company.
