THE RECOVERY BOILER is a blessing and a curse for most mills.It's often the single most expensive piece of equipment in the mill,it consumes a huge (and hugely unpredictable) percentage of a facility's maintenance budget,and its down times are at best unpredictable and at worst catastrophic.
