Sun Paper to boost pulp

Sun Paper plans to install a new pulp line at its plant in Yanzhou city,Shandong province,China.The 200,000 tonne/yr unit will feed the site's two white-lined chipboard machines,PMs 17 and 18.The company is deciding between a bleached chemi-thermomechanical pulp unit or an alkaline peroxide mechanical pulp line.Sun Paper is currently in talks with potential suppliers and expects to make a final decision in February.Startup is penciled in for the end of 2006.
