Some Positive Signs

PPI's Outlook Survey 2004 shows that most people in the industry are guardedly optimistic about prospects.As usual,the annual PPI Outlook Survey inspired a mixture of opinions about the likely fate of the pulp and paper sector in 2004.As figure 1 illustrates,the overwhelming majority of respondents believe that the industry will (even if only marginally) improve its financial performance in the coming year.
