Matroz plans to bring its plant in sremska mitrovica,near belgrade,serbia,back online shortly.the mill's pulp line has been out of action since december,while paper production stopped in may due to financial difficulties.The state-owned company aims to restructure the mill over the next six to 12 months in a bid to reignite interest in the privatization process.the firm intends to focus on pulp and paper production and divest its printing,transport and maintenance divisions.the serbian government remains keen to sell off matroz despite suffering several setbacks with the process.the authorities hope to issue a new tender in december and privatize the company by june next year.
