Ciba Specialty Chemicals is further strengthening its paper chemicals business with the acquisition of specialty chemicals supplier LPM Technologies,Inc.Ciba says the acquisition will improve its position in the Canadian paper market,LPM Technologies,with sales of around CHF 15 million(US11,8 million),is focused on retention/drainage,fixatives,water management products and process chemicals backed-op by a strong technical service team.The St-Nicholas,Quebec-based firm employs 28 people.
