Larvik Cell Secures Ebrd Funds For Pulp Mill

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development(EBRD)plans to invest Euro 19 million(us24 million)in Larvik Cell's Estonian pulp mill project.In return,the bank will gam equity in Estonian Cell,the Larvik Cell subsidiary that will run the greenfleld plant.The project cost is estimated at Euro 150-165 million.Germany's HypoVereinsbank has already pledged an undisclosed sum toward the scheme.But Larvik Cell is pursuing other potential sponsors.
