Finnish manufacturer of folding boxboard and other special boares, Stromsdal Oyj, was the first company in the world to replace its yankee cylinder with a shoe press. By applying a new process using shoe press technology, Stromsdal has increased production capacity without jeopardiing the quality parameters of its board, especialy smoothness.
