摘要

Excitation of the presumed laser levels of Fe Ⅰ and Fe Ⅱinelectron-atom collisions is studied by the tecn- Niques of extendedintersecting beams and optical spect- Roscopy. The total excitationcross sections for the z~5P°_3, X~5D°_4, and z~5F°_5 levels of theiron atom were determined. The excitation cross sections weremeasured for transitions Arising from the odd levels of Fe Ⅱ with anexcitation energy Ranging from 38 000 to 48 000 cm~-1 relative to theground Level of Fe Ⅱ.
