TQM and ISO 9000 effects on knowledge transferability and knowledge transfers

Knowledge transfers and knowledge transferability (the ease with which knowledge can be transferred) are important features in knowledge management. In this regard, efforts are made to know whether total quality management (TQM) and ISO 9000 certification practices have any effects on knowledge transfers and knowledge transferability. Various hypotheses proposed to this effect are tested using the survey response data collected from the CEOs of a large number of Spanish firms. Key measuring factors are developed and tested for its internal consistency. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) technique is used to make interpretations.
