To present a mathematical solution to the correlation triangle problem that incorporates both customer requirements (CR) and engineering characteristics (EC). QFD is the systematic translation of the voice of the customer (VQC) to the actions of the manufacturer required to meet the customers' desires based on a matrix what customer wants and how the supplier plans to provide it.
