Efficient cost management through excellence quality management practices among local authorities in Malaysia

To examine the relationship between quality management practices and the efficiency in cost management. This study investigates the relationship between seven prominent quality management practices, i.e., top management influence, customer focus, employee focus, quality training, supplier relationship, information and communication technology (ICT), and process management, and organizational performance employing regression analysis on data collected through a survey in 80 local authorities of West Malaysia using a self-administered questionnaire.
