Relationships between implementation of TQM,JIT,and TPM and manufacturing performance

摘要

Though the management programs TQM,JIT and TPM have a similar goal of continuous improvement and waste reduction,they are always implemented separately.However,from a review of the practices of TQM,JIT and TPM,it is observed that there exists a set of common practices among them,and also some of the practices are unique to the respective programs.Hence,an attempt is made to develop an integrated framework for the simultaneous implementation of TQM,JIT and TPM.The relationships between the implementation of these three programs and the manufacturing performance are also studied empirically.(57 refs.)
