It is known that the successful implementation of various quality programs depends on the degree of use of various quality tools and concepts and vice versa. Consequent to this, there is a belief that in the ISO certified companies, the certification has its impact on the levels of awareness and usage of various quality tools and concepts. In order to study this aspect, a survey is conducted among the Turkish manufacturing companies. Various hypotheses are tested, and the results are presented. (25 refs.)
