There is a growing interest in the oxidation of saturated hydrocarbons especially under mild conditions due to its practical and scientific goals. Modern industrial methods usually require high pressure and temperature, while in living organisms the selective functionalization of nonactivated C-H bonds takes place via enzymatic catalysis at room temperature [1].
