Last year marked a turnaround for the distribution industry as it gained back some lost ground over the previous three years.Showing significant increases in component sales,the top distributors grew sales by US3.2 billion over 2003.After suffering from revenue decline over the past three years,computer product specialists saw strong gains in 2004 as well.Semiconductor sales of the top 10 distributors increased 15.6% to reach US8.9 billion,up from US7.7 billion in 2003.Computer product sales posted another big increase as sales rose 20.9% to US5.2 billion,up from US4.3 billion in 2003.
