LARGE-SIZED LIQUID CRYSTAL display prices are rising because of strong demand, production cutbacks and low inventory levels, according to market researcher iSuppli.Shipments of LCD panels increased 41.4% to 129.7 million units in the second quarter compared to the first quarter because of healthy demand, especially in China, according to researcher iSuppli. Large-sized LCD panels have a diagonal dimension of 10 inches or larger.
