Buyers want high-quality copper but high prices remain a burden

According to a recent Purchasing survey,what buyers really want from copper suppliers is(in order of importance):quality materials,on-time delivery,consistent service and competitive prices.The 63% run-up in cathode prices through August has muddied the buying waters,according to buyers' comments.A majority of buyers polled(76%)sees prices staying this high or higher for the rest of this year,and there are huge concerns about pricing- and supply-in 2007.
