Not long ago a potato grower took a 10-pound bag of potatoes to his golf instructor as a token of appreciation. The golf pro laid the bag of potatoes on the ground next to his golf bag and proceeded with the lesson. A few minutes into the lesson, thegrower, struggling to make the ball go where he wanted it to, remarked, "Boy! This is hard to do!" His teacher paused a moment, then walked over and picked up the bag of potatoes. "You're wrong," he said. "Hitting a stationary golf ball isn't hard to do. This is hard to do!" he said, thrusting the bag of near-perfect potatoes into the grower's face.
