The Thomasann-High-Chem-PTFE-Sealing Paste, Chetra TP, is a nontoxic, odorless paste for sealing of pipe threads as well as pneumatic and hydraulic fittings. Due to the moldable PTFE particles, which prevent a decay formation, Chetra TP provides a flexible, non-hardening sealing and thus eliminates leaks on threads even if high pressure resistance is required. Threaded connections can easily be closed and opened, the threads are prevented from being damaged. Chetra TP is suitable for many alkalis and acids, any kinds of solvents, gases including hydrogen, ammonia, chlorine, propane, butane and nitrogen, as well as for air, steam, cooling agents, sea-water and fuels.The sealing paste is not suited for oxygen applications as well as saltpeter and lactic acid.
