Glass flake-Vinyl Ester Linings in Service for Caspian Oil and Gas Project

ACG (Azeri Chirag Gunashli)and Shah Deniz are offshore oil and gas projects currently under development by oil company consortia led by BP in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea.ACG Phase 1 started producing oil earlier this year.Its two further phases plus Shah Deniz are scheduled to start production over the next few years.For certain critical elements of these high profile projects,BP and its design and engineering contractor,Kvaernor Brown & Root (KBR),wanted proven and reliable coating and lining systems.
