DuPont and Monsanto sign licensing pact for insect resistant corn variety

DuPont Co. said its Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc. unit plans to license Monsanto Corp.'s YieldGard Rootworm insect-protected corn technology. In a press release, Dupont said the licensing agreement allows the unit to provide its customers with additional new corn technology in Chemical Weekly Groupioneer brand hybrids.
