摘要

Heavy inborn contamination and phenol exudation were the major problem in establishing the in vitro culture of aonla (Emblica officials Gaertn). Fortification of antioxidants in the media or shaking of Explant with phenol binding agents/antioxidants have not turned out to be useful. The explant, cut end of which sealed up with melted paraffin wax showed very low oxidative browning with a corresponding increase in explant survival.
