Yellow mosaics of pulse crops and their management

摘要

Yellow mosaics are the most serious handicap in the cultivation on kharif pulse crops like mungbean, urdbean, soybean and pigeonpea in the state of Punjab. Viruses reduce the vigour and productivity of the infected plants. Sometimes the incidence become very high thus leading to a complete failure of the crop, Mungbean suffer more heavy losses as compared to other legumes. Present article includes information about the symptomatology, transmission, host range and management practices for minimizingthe losses due to such diseases.
